Not as small as it looks, the packaging just makes it smaller than other deodorants

Update: the smell is awful at the end of a day of wear. It won't work at all. Can be easily wiped off the fabric. It might work well for others, but it's definitely not for me. Value: Here's the kicker, it looks small. 2.47 ounces seems like a lot, but my old spice weighs 2.6 ounces. The price is different but not by much, about 3 grams by weight or less than 5% more than this deodorant. The form factor I think just makes it smaller. So the biggest obstacle here is the price and the looks, but those who want to minimize not only plastic but also paper waste should appreciate this packaging as it is as minimal as possible, apart from not using colored and bleached paper becomes. Packaging: minimalism is good but my bar showed signs of pressure so it was crushed a bit before arrival. Due to the minimal packaging, deodorant sticks stuck to the edges of the box and the flap of the lid. It was also slightly sweaty when I opened it, with a noticeable amount of moisture on its surface. Smell: I received a lavender bar and although there is some lavender in it, I noticed a different smell, similar to glue sticks. The lavender is good, reminds me of the lavender I grew on the farm years ago, but the smell of the glue bothers me a bit. It doesn't last long so I applied it gently to the corner, much softer than standard deodorants. I'd rather have something to hold it, to apply it so I can't get it on my fingers. I ended up applying it to my hair instead of directly to my skin, but felt that just putting my hands down and moving them back and forth to rub it in was enough. Conclusion: I will continue to look for alternatives on how to make my own organic deodorant and thus reduce costs and minimize my carbon footprint without having to order on the other side of the world (made in New Zealand). For those who don't want to learn how to make their own this is a viable option, but the fact that it has to be shipped from New Zealand means that shipping has a carbon footprint. You'll have that carbon footprint with just about anything, but probably not as much as something shipped from an island nation on the other side of the world. A good step in the right direction, so I really appreciate this intention.
