I bought this AutoDolly hoping to get great and useful shots with my iPhones. My goal was to create time lapses and add another dimension to ordinary everyday shots. Unfortunately, the slowest speed for time-lapse recordings was too high for me. The product appears to be very durable as most of it is made of metal parts. I really like the included accessories (USB cable, remote control, Allen key and spare tire). The remote control looks like a universal key fob, light plastic but functional. It definitely has loud clicks when you press its buttons. Overall, what struck me the most for my needs was that the vibrations from the motor were transmitted to both of my iPhones. Even with warp stabilization, the footage is virtually unusable. In addition, the noise generated by the motor is fully audible on all cameras. It's not loud, just very noticeable. If your audio is important to your recording, be sure to use a separate audio recording device. However, this product worked fairly decently with my GoPro Hero 3. Aside from the audio issue, the footage was stable, smooth, and fully usable. It might be fine for a DSLR, but unfortunately I don't have one and haven't been able to test it. In the end I will probably return this AutoDolly.
