Amazing Wood Conditioner

This is an absolutely wonderful product. I first bought this to use on some unfinished cheap IKEA wooden cutting boards. After the first coat of paint, the wood has taken on a beautiful color tone due to the treatment. For this ongoing work, I started by applying five coats, waiting an hour to a day between coats (it just depended on my mood and how busy I was). I microwaved the oil for 30-40 seconds and rubbed it down with a heavy kitchen towel. I didn't wipe off the excess for the first four coats - I just gave it time to fully soak into the wood. One day I saw how well it worked and on a whim I decided to use it on some old family bowls that have been in my family for generations (they are at least 100 years old at the moment). These bowls have probably not had a drop of oil added to them for AT LEAST 30-40 years and have been shamefully abandoned. Even after using this meat block conditioner for the first time, the shells took on a color and life I never knew I had (see before and after photos). I've since used this formula for the wooden legs of a chair I'm restoring, as well as several mid-century cheese boards. In a word: every wooden object in the house is conditioned with it! I like that it's edible, so I'm less concerned if a curious dog or cat licks the end. The smell is pleasant too - it has a nice honey aroma, but not too strong, so those who are sensitive to chemical smells shouldn't have any problems. I don't leave many reviews but I was quite impressed with this product. it deserves it. Can I compare it to other meat block oils? no But I'm so happy with it that I don't feel the need to look for alternatives either.
