Doable but not worth it

I've installed dozens of screen protectors on phones, tablets, watches and laptops over the years. I've tried many different brands and styles (glass, flexible TPU, PET). This screen protector is by far the most difficult and frustrating to use. I think the main issue is the combination of size and lack of flexibility. If you need to remove some dust or bubbles when applying, you can't remove the screen protector very far from the screen, otherwise it will bounce off badly and generate more dust and bubbles. However, installation is possible. I'll provide the steps I took for a bubble and dust free installation below after I've completed the review. The second big issue after installation is the impact on your screen. Due to the matte nature of the screen protector (a microstructure on the outside that diffuses the light) there is a VERY noticeable iridescent pixelated effect. I've attached pictures of it but it looks like other anti-glare screens. This is quite normal with this type of screen protector, but it is something to be aware of. I've included close-ups of this effect. Fewer issues with the quality of the protectors themselves but mine had a crease in the corner of all 3. This crease was not a problem when installed and was not noticeable after installation. Here are the steps I took for a bubble and dust free installation: 1. Clean the work area and then let it sit for 10 minutes to allow any airborne dust to settle. 2. Wipe the table with a damp cloth to collect the settled dust so as not to be stepped on during installation.3. Take out the screen protector, mop and small towel from the packaging. Move.4. Thoroughly wipe the screen with a damp cloth, dry with a clean microfiber cloth (like glasses).5. Use some tape to start removing the adhesive backing from the TOP. The Preferences tab starts at the bottom, don't use it.6. Take your time and carefully line up the camera cutout, making sure the top edge is level.7. Starting from the top, use a squeegee to squeeze out the bubbles. If you notice a particle of dust, stop immediately and use a piece of tape to remove the dust. When doing this, try to remove the protective film as little as possible, as this will lead to more bubbles and dust.8. When you're done, remove the outer cover and check for bubbles or dust around the edges. When you find them, use a piece of tape on the corner to lift the protective cover just enough to slide a piece of tape underneath to collect dust. 9. Wipe off any remaining bubbles on the edge.10. Turn on the computer and immediately regret the installation.
