great functionality but uncomfortable to wear

Now that I'm on the phone all day, I need a hassle-free headset that can be easily switched from phone to computer (and vice versa). This phone has an excellent charger/base that solves this problem. The headset connects wirelessly to the base station. And the base station connects to the phone wirelessly via Bluetooth. And connects to my PC via USB-C. The base station has touch controls that allow you to easily switch from phone to PC or from PC to phone. It also switches automatically when only one device is active. This is great as I can make a call and then easily switch to a Zoom call on my PC. What's not great is the convenience of the headset. The ear pads feel very hot in my ears. Some faux leather. For the money I expected better. And the overall setting is bad for my admittedly large head. Also, there's an almost religious diatribe in the Sennheiser manual about why you can't hear your own voice ("touch"), meaning you get that weird feeling by default. during a conversation, since the headphones block all sounds coming from the mouth from reaching the ears. You feel "in your head". Windows 10 Audio Settings Playback -> (Headset Headphone Properties) Levels has a "Local Audio" slider that helps mitigate this somewhat, but that's only useful for PC calls. My Android phone doesn't seem to have an equivalent setting, so my experience varies significantly from PC to phone in terms of how my own voice sounds. The base station is great, the headset could be improved. Still better than my in-ear headphones for all-day phone use.
