Review on Transcend 512GB MicroSDXC Memory TS512GUSD300S AE by Yoonki Baek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's the best purchase I ever made, I will definitely do it again.

Feedback on the 128 GB version. Manufacturer code TS128GUSD300S-A (01202222). I took the card for a 3-year-old tablet, now it costs 32 GB, but I want more. TEST CONDITIONS. The card is formatted exFAT (64 KB). The test was carried out using a Transcend TS-RDF8 (USB 3.0) card reader. The card reader supports the UHS-I interface (SD and microSD), the maximum interface speed is 104 MB / s (SDR104). The TEST RESULT is shown in the figure. The card complies with the declared classes (UHS-I U3, UHS-I U1, Clase 10, V30, A1), with a margin. Declared by the manufacturer (for a 128 GB card) sequential read speed up to 100 MB / s, Write up to 40 MB / s. In fact, the speed is slightly lower, but not critical. Real speed (on large files): reading from 62 to 90 MB; record from 29 to 40 MB. TOTAL: Expectations based on the manufacturer's advertising statements were justified. The card showed good performance in small-block operations. For comparison, here is the test result of a much more expensive SanDisk Extreme PRO microSDXC UHS-1 128 GB 170/90 GB/s card (SDSQXCY-128G-GN6MA). In small-block operations, Transcend is not inferior, and even slightly ahead of SanDisk. For a tablet, this card is a good budget choice. Considering the price of 1100, I am completely satisfied with the result :). P. S. In the product description, the read / write speeds are slightly different from those declared by the manufacturer.

Pros
  • Reliable manufacturer. Low price (on the occasion of a sale).
