Review on Amazon Basics Automatic Compact Umbrella by Amy Bernabe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great umbrella for the rainy season

Pros + Compact design + Excellent build quality + Comfortable grip + Reliable umbrella Cons - Pop-up function can be a potential problem - Good but not great windbreak - Normal design Should you buy : Yes Really Cost: $20 RevainBasics has always amazed me because they offer a plethora of products that are not only healthy but also of high quality and even beat the price of some other products. This umbrella is no exception and my expectations were high. No wonder this is one of the best and most affordable umbrellas I have ever used. Draft. This is a basic, no-frills umbrella, so not much to say about the design. However, there are some small, subtle touches that Revane added. For example, the stylus has a comfortable design and is coated in soft-touch plastic, giving it a premium feel that you won't find in a plastic stylus. There's nothing special about the Revain branding other than a strap that holds the umbrella together when folded. It's also very compact, which makes it small enough to take with you everywhere, e.g. B. in your car, your bag or your backpack. But it's still big enough to cover 2 small people or in my case a big guy. Function The umbrella has a handy open/close button that works as advertised and opens and closes the bag with enough force. an umbrella that folds easily. Of course, while this is a handy addition, it looks like something that could potentially become a problem in the future. But so far it's nice to use. The fabric that the umbrella itself is made of is excellent, the water does not leak and the water drains well. The construction itself is good and the frame feels really solid. I used it in a short storm we're having in LA right now and it holds up the wind pretty well. However, it appears that something stronger than the winds currently blowing outside will destroy it. However, it's still great for this umbrella, especially considering the price. Just don't expect it to handle gale force winds. - Conclusion - I have used a few umbrellas in this price range which were fragile and didn't last more than a month. But this umbrella sets a new standard for cheap umbrellas, which should suffice for most if not all people who don't want to get wet in the rain. And with the rainy season approaching, there's never been a perfect time to buy an umbrella. Definitely the best choice for me and RevainBasics offer another great product.
