Bought as a gift to heat up a cup of soup, tea etc. Immediately impressed with the quality - heavy [and I mean HEAVY!] steel gauge. Long fairly wide handle - 2 rivets attach it to the pot = they feel heavy duty. "2 cups" actually means "1.5 cups" if you don't like living on the edge (literally - 2 cups gets you to the very edge). It has a spout for pouring. Suitable for right-handers (me/my mother), not suitable for left-handers, I am very satisfied!
