This is the second pair of these shoes that I have bought in the last few months. My feet are narrower than normal width but wider than narrow. I've always had trouble finding the right running/sports shoes. They're usually too wide in the toe area, so I pinch my toes together to keep the shoe in place. About a year ago I started pronating, which strained the tendons in my left leg and made my whole body slightly unsteady. I had pain in my legs, muscle spasms in my legs and balance problems. My personal trainer recommended that I try a pair of Asics and I'm very glad I did. They fit snugly on the toe and align my foot properly and everything else slowly returns to its original position.
