The original cover will keep your phone alive, because it is strong, and at the same time it does not cover the main feature of this phone from your eyes and the eyes of strangers, namely its bright appearance.

In general, the phone is solid, pleasant to use, creates a feeling of reliable and tenacious. You will love this phone and be proud of it.

Pros

The phone is very solid, it feels like something very weighty, strong, serious lies in the hand, in comparison with the elegance of the Xs model. At the same time, the phone is beautiful, in my case it is red, which looks very attractive and advantageous against the background of black or white glass bars. You want to touch this bright bar of cold glass and aluminum again and again. The battery life is decent, the battery condition is 100% after six months of use, a full charge lasts from morning until late at night. The main and front cameras both shoot great, the front camera takes excellent selfies with portrait mode. The main camera is single, so if you haven't come across phones with dual-triple cameras before, then this phone will be the best one with a single camera. Stereo sound. It's just nice when it's there. The screen, no matter what anyone says, is of high quality, the IPS-matrix, in my personal IMHO, is more pleasant than AMOLED, despite the natural black color of the latter. At the same time, on this phone, the color transmission is tower, black is black, white is not pink and not blue at large angles. You can forget about the bangs or frames around the screen, which everyone scolds for the thickness in comparison with Xs, these moments will not spoil your life in any way. There are no questions about things like performance, smooth operation. iOS is undoubtedly the strongest point of all Apple devices, and I don't think I need to explain why. Potentially, the phone can wait for long-term support from the manufacturer in the form of ates and other features.

Cons

The price bites, the phone does not lose in price two years after its appearance in stores. Aluminum is a great choice for a frame because it doesn't attract grease and fingerprints as much as steel, but it's just as slippery. And the traces of the use of the phone on the rear glass will be so clearly visible that there will be a manic desire to wipe it. Any transparent case will help. The bundled charger is too weak for such a massive battery. It is enough to charge a discharged phone overnight, but if you want to go faster, you can use a more powerful charger from the iPad. The AI responsible for the portrait mode on the main camera sees nothing but faces, and artifacts may appear. Sometimes the 3.5 connector is really missing, but I have wireless headphones, so this is rather such an insignificant moment for me. And, most importantly, the phone is thick and heavy, it will feel strange if you are not used to it.
