This soundbar was ordered for use with a 46 inch TV. First of all, the soundbar installed without any problems. The connection to the TV was made via the optical port, the soundbar and TV turned on and this gave good sound. It was good but nothing special. Of course that was better than television. However, the depth of the base was not. The highs and mids sounded good. The only problem was that the setting was the area where the ports were. When plugged in, the power cord and optical connector were clearly bent, almost unnaturally. Second, the remote control for the device I received is useless. It wouldn't detect the soundbar unless I was near the soundbar. The TV is about 6-7 feet from the TV so that shouldn't be a problem. When I put the remote next to the soundbar, it recognized the soundbar. It toggled the device on and off most of the time I tried, but I refused to change the volume. I didn't try the Bluetooth connection as it connected directly to the TV. almost non-existent. Also, the remote control was essentially useless. This is a cheaper option for those who need a soundbar but don't expect the quality you can get from a device that costs 2-3 times more. Since this unit will be used on an additional TV, I'm not overly concerned about the overall sound quality. However, I wouldn't use it as a soundbar for my main TV.
