I think you definitely get the quality you pay for. This camera is very light so at first I thought I bought a toy. It takes a bit of fiddling to get the settings you want (I was a fool not to read the manual first). I appreciate the fact that it comes with two batteries and can be recharged. Image quality is still not the best I've seen in digital cameras, but for less than $50 this is a decent camera to take on vacation.
