Often you get these and the plating is huge and the wire is thin, not in this case, this gauge is unlike others I've bought , listed under the coating the past. I install fuse panels with switching relays that supply power and use either this type of fuse holder for the installation or one of the self resetting fuses depending on what powers the panel. Classic muscle cars that came with point and thermal chokes are easily swapped out for HEI and electric chokes via a relay and small underhood fuse box. Most of the time I mount them near the old voltage regulators since the power wires and trigger wires are already routed there. <tip>Some panels have a main fuse, most don't, so this style comes into play, it can be hidden in a plastic wiring harness, just tell the owner where the fuses are and how to troubleshoot if there is a problem. Or use fused power to power other items, lights, horns, charging sockets, etc. Nice to have on hand if you are cable savvy and need a more capable build.
