I ordered these for our four year old daughter and ordered two sizes up not knowing what size she would wear in the winter and they ended up being a tad too big. I expect they will be too small next winter so I would recommend ordering a size up for your child. Unfortunately, the size grid didn't help in determining the correct size. Even though they were a little big she could wear them with thick double layered socks although her gait was adorable lol. These boots are well made with rubber soles. They came down to her calves and kept her feet warm and dry outside. We haven't had much snow this year so she has hardly worn them so they still look new. The outsole kept him from slipping and sliding and made it easy to play in the snow. I liked that the boot had a buckle on the strap that allowed us to securely tighten the boot to keep it dry. It's a very affordable price and great quality, especially for kids who are so young they only wear them for one season. You can easily share them with your kids.
