Powerful all-round flashlight for photography and videography

Full disclosure: I'm a big fan of GVM products because they add value. Like other GVM lights I own, the 100w dual tone light does not disappoint. Pros: Powerful Versatile - 32-56k color temperature and compatible with Umbrella and Bowen modifiers. More stable construction (as if it were made of real metal!) than comparable lights. Remote control via smartphone. APP Case Stable output LONG IEC cable Cons: Fan noise (very similar to Godox SL60 fan noise, so on par with less powerful lights) I like the power and quality of the light emitted by the light. I have no problem using it as the main light for both photos (see attached image) and videos (see attached video). As I already have a lot of Bowens mounting accessories they fit right into my existing rig. As an added bonus, this is the ONLY LED monoblock I've purchased (out of 6!) that comes with a case. I mentioned the fan noise, but I want to stress that it's almost the same as the noise of the Godox SL-60, but gives 2/3 levels MORE light. Whether you're looking for a sturdy, powerful dual-tone flashlight to add to your kit, or looking to buy your first, you can't go far wrong with this one.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other models
