Actually are water proof!
I figured they might be water resistant at most, but I wore mine out in the storm yesterday. Lots of puddles! I felt like I was 5 again and splashed in every one, including the 8 inches or so in my neighbour's flooded driveway. Came inside and my socks, pants and boots were bone dry inside! I could not be more pleased! They are not the prettiest, but they are practical and functional! Money well spent!
