Excellent product. If I had known such a thing existed, I would have bought it a long time ago. As long as you have a broadband internet connection, you can stream live TV from anywhere! Just forward the port on your router and you're done! Otherwise it works fine over LAN. Just be honest with your bitrate, don't overload the connection you're using. Keep in mind that cable and satellite television are usually 720p. That disappointed me, not the fault of the product. OTA digital transmission is usually 1080p, you can take a cheap OTA TV tuner and plug it into it!
