So the deck itself is made out of bamboo and maple which is pretty pretty and very well made. The grip tape is good, it's not great, but it works great even when it's raining. I've read quite a few reviews talking about trucks and to be honest they aren't perfect and they squeak but if you put wax on all parts of the truck the creaking should stop and it will make it 10x better. The wheels are soft but perfect for beginners and perfect for cruising. The only real complaint about this board is the bearings. The camps have non-removable shields and are not of very good quality initially. I strongly recommend buying new ones, e.g. B. Bone colors or displacements. Even if you don't decide to buy new bearings they will work, but it takes a little more effort but nothing excessive. Also, it will be covered in plastic when it arrives, so I recommend unscrewing the top and bottom screws (don't remove them completely if you don't want to) and just remove all the plastic. Also loosen the nuts on the wheels. because they're on the way to tightening up and restricting some movement (quick tip, if you hear a rumble from the board it's perfectly normal, just tighten the kingpin and you should be fine, wax helps too). This board can also hold quite a bit I've seen this board handle up to 220lbs so heavier riders should be fine. Overall this board is great despite its flaws, perfect for beginners and I would highly recommend it.
