Switch works as expected, USB output on one of the computers is mouse/keyboard only. Is this switch suitable? It depends on your use cases, but for 8 inputs it can seem a bit disappointing when you can get something used on ebay for a few hundred more which is much, much more powerful. Get this if you need something cheap but if you plan on integrating it with say Avocent-Dell's KMM or want something better, save up for something used on eBay where the value proposition is much better, especially if you Use it with an 8 computer rack. It's important to buy used on ebay for a fraction of the RRP, and then rely on a cheap solution that has 'good' support for a variety of peripherals.
