When my oldest cat died I was so heartbroken that I had a kitten a month later; which really confused my second cat. we didn't present them "right" (I was too impatient). This material worked wonders. I use one of these with food, one of our bedroom's calming originals and sometimes part of Jackson Galaxy's bully formula. They went from fighting to sort of ignoring each other. I hope they will bond over time now that the initial aggression is gone. I connect it to Feliway! yes it is expensive And I don't like heating pads - they seem to get very hot and the wick turns very dark brown which makes me feel TOO warm. but it's not flammable or too hot so I just replace it. them when they start to look too discolored. They still get angry when it runs out, but I hope they adjust over time and I can stop using it.
