This bag is a good size, not too big for everyday use but roomy enough for all your everyday essentials. There are two layers, each with a strong zipper and top handle. The outside is a soft black quilted cotton with a floral pattern on the inside similar to the Vera Bradley stationary pattern I've gotten in the past. The top tier is for small to medium/large makeup brushes with a clear plastic valve to keep them clean and prevent powder from spilling onto the fabric of the rest of the pouch. There is a clear plastic zippered pocket on top of the lid. The bottom compartment is more spacious with two stretch mesh pockets, a zippered mesh pocket in the top lid and a spacious main compartment for mascara, blush, foundation, eye shadow etc. Cute handy bag with elegant design.
