I would never recommend these sticks. Bought them for a hike and went tonight to open them up and thankfully try them out before taking them on our 22 mile Presidential Peak Walk. They don't snap or snap into place, after watching 15 minute youtube videos on how to assemble them I can only conclude that they are faulty. They came with no instructions and as someone with a master's degree I think they shouldn't need a degree to put them together. Zero customer support, their website was totally useless and the youtube video they have on their website. useless. I strongly recommend you to find another place to spend your money and time. Now I have to run to the sporting goods store at the last minute to find a replacement, which should never have happened. Thanks for a busy evening in my time and gas. ***As a result, I was able to get them to snap BUT they didn't snap on the first day of our hike which is a safety hazard and the plastic part on the bottom of the poles had worn through to the skin after a very short walk which got me over the quality of this product makes you wonder. I ended up returning but overall a disappointing experience.
