I'm updating this review because I don't actually use this case anymore: it was too difficult to use the rubberized control buttons. I'm tired of squeezing so hard I switched to a case that has the button open and I love it. However, this case is very protective and feels soft and rubbery when you hold it. Very comfortable and I know it fits both the iPad mini 4 and 5 because I started with a 4 and then decided to swap it out for a 5. That's when I encountered another problem with this case, namely: it's difficult to open. Case for inserting or removing the iPad. (I can't say anything about the shoulder strap either. I didn't attach it.)
