Yes, it won't compete with those hats which cost 10 times more. But hey, I'm not trying to impress anyone. I wanted this hat to minimize my exposure to the sun. It's like having instant sunscreen without all the mess and fuss. It works very well for me. This hat doesn't have a large brim on the back which is perfect for me. The headrest on my powerchair wouldn't allow me to wear a hat like that. Funny thing, I wasn't looking for compliments but most times I go out, folks give it raving reviews. Especially when I tell them that in times past, folks wore hats all the time. Likely didn't have to put up with skin cancer as much as we do today. So, I'm wearing my Hat (sunscreen) everywhere I go. And yes, the hat does look great - not cheap. Highly Recommend!
