I bought this softbox for a specific portrait shoot I was about to do. Photo in full growth. The processing is good and makes a quite solid impression. I think the fine details of fit and finish are a bit better on the much more expensive lightboxes, but it works well. I especially like the mount/ring. The clamp fits and holds the flash tightly and securely enough and is adjustable for different sizes of flash. I also like the fact that the ring is a standard Bowens style so I can add other accessories if needed. I didn't use a grid but it seems like it should be fine. I haven't had much trouble setting it up or breaking it. The setup is actually very simple; The tricky part, as many people have mentioned, is rotating the softbox properly to get it back into the case. It requires some effort and skill, but it's doable. It would probably help if you had previous experience with folding back flex-fills and such. Basically, if you hold the two vertices of the triangle and twist, the other vertex has to curve inward and hold between the two you're holding to bring it back to its round shape. I'll make a video when I get a chance, because that shouldn't stop anyone from buying an otherwise really good kit.
