I’d size up. Especially if the wearer isn’t veerrry thin. These are not just fashionably slim. My teen aged son is tall, athletic and lean but not lanky. These are great for very thin young men. Not for athletes-maybe runners. Additionally these shrank a bit in the wash. The quality and stitching seem good. But please don’t order these for anyone over 30. They were pretty snug but my man sized son doesn’t care and wears them. There is an elastic band in the back that he wasn’t crazy about.
