Let me put that in perspective, we just bought them this luscious very plush big cat perch just so they have more room to lounge around on the levels and this thing is like a luxury hotel room. We put a cardboard house next to it. Where do cats want to be? In this cardboard house. It's their new favorite place and we're extremely cat centric so there are so many other places they could be but currently their favorite is the cardboard house. 12lbs and the other is a ruby red 15-16lb Smoking Torpedo and both fit in easily, enough room to roll over and lie down however they like - Watch the video to see how they try to fit in together. Most of the time, they fight over who's in the house. My advice: don't let the heavier cat jump onto the roof while the other cat is inside or the roof will collapse. lol Also worth noting: you don't seem to overheat there even in the height of summer, I think this is due to the many windows and the raised floor which encourages air circulation. My only complaint about the house itself, despite its super easy assembly and incredibly cute aesthetic, is that the cardboard scratch pad that makes up the floor appears to be heavily carved, and we've only had it for three weeks (and that's with three more scratching posts available). I've had to turn it over, but I don't see any side dishes for the house in stock to order. :( So yeah, looks like I'll have to buy a whole new house next month just because of the scratches. Still, I'll give the house five stars.
