Works much better than the cheaper metal two-armed assist arms
The problem with the metal two-armed assist arms is that they don't really help. The levers are too far apart and don't offer enough flexibility to achieve what you want. With several hands he can hold the circuit board and several components at the same time. The base is heavy, which makes it stable. My only minor complaint is the use of cheap alligator clips - stronger flat end clamps would do the job a lot better.
