I bought these for hiking and they didn't disappoint. At first I was skeptical that something so small could work well as a bath towel, but they work. I bought full size and towel size and they are very comfortable. When you first use it it's like drying with a hockey puck because these things don't just pop open, they have to get a little wet to come apart the first time. So start drying the washing machine and it will start to open. Once it works, you can rip it apart with quite a bit of force. I was nervous that I might rip a towel the first time, but these things are amazingly durable. When open, they are very absorbent. After use, they don't shrink as little as the original packaging, but they fold up compact enough to fit in a quart or sandwich-sized ziplock bag. They are machine washable and I have used the same towels almost a dozen times. They will get softer after a few washes. I definitely recommend this product. Keep a few in your car, take them on a hike, and take the smaller size to the gym as a lint-free workout towel. They also dry faster than regular towels, which is great for camping trips when you don't want to pack wet stuff in your backpack.
