Review on Zilla Incandescent Bulb Night Heat by Rachel Ford

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They fade quickly and don't last long.

They burn out quickly and don't last as long as other, more expensive bulbs. Sometimes they last 1-2 months and sometimes they burn out in a few weeks. Depends on the luck of the draw. I use these for my leopard gecko (10 gallon aquarium). Keeps tank 75-85 degrees. Now I have a ceramic heat lamp and use it as a backup.

Pros
  • Visible red glow doesn't disrupt nightlife or sleep patterns
Cons
  • Legacy model
