I've tried a lot of remotes over the last few years because my dog was a puppy for a while and kept eating them . I lost all but one of the original unit's remotes in her teeth. So I used a tiny DVD remote to control the DVD and TV, and also the app on my phone to control the Roku. I had a couple of $25 universal remotes but my dog ate them too. So when I saw the $10 purple universal remote, I absolutely needed it! So I took this remote and put batteries in it (it's a shame it doesn't come with batteries but still) and followed the programming instructions. my devices. I'm so excited that this remote controls everything now! Programming was really easy. Someone has complained that the back button doesn't work on Roku, but it does, you just have to choose the right code. The remote does everything a Roku remote has ever done. I'm excited. It's a nice purple color and the backlight (a nice purple pink color) stays on for a few seconds after the button is pressed. It is important! I love this remote control.
