Review on πŸ‘οΈ Effortlessly Remove Ultra Hard Contact Lenses with DMV Ultra Hard Contact Lens Remover (Blue, 3 Pack) by Leisa Norman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They are great for removing my scleral lens. For HARD lenses, not for soft lenses.

I just found out I have keratoconus which makes my cornea look very strange. Nobody was ever able to correct my vision in my left eye, and nobody knew why. Eventually I found an optometrist who immediately understood what was going on. To correct this situation I need a contact lens called a scleral lens or "big" lens. This is a hard, really big contact that covers the entire eye and part of the white of the eye. And BOY, it changed my vision. Now I can see 20/15 when I used to see a blurry capital E and that's it! The problem with these large lenses is that they are difficult to insert and remove. I wore soft contact lenses for a short time and was able to just pop them out of my eyes, but that's not possible with these hard lenses. The plunger is the only way to remove the lens. It grips my lens easily and allows me to remove it painlessly. It also holds the lens so it doesn't get lost. These lenses are very, very expensive so I can't afford to lose the one I have. If you have soft contacts, this tool will not work. These pistons are designed for hard contacts and work like a charm. I like that they are each in their own little case. I carry one in my purse, the other in the glove compartment and one at home. They are simple but necessary for me to safely remove the lens. I received three packs and the price was great. For me this is an absolute must. If you have hard contact lenses or scleral lenses, these pestles remove the lenses from your eyes quickly, easily and without discomfort. They can also be used to insert lenses, but I use a different tool for that.
