butter dish - what I wanted! I read all the reviews and was a bit skeptical about ordering. Some said the plate was broken, others said it wouldn't fit large chunks of butter (think 2 quarters side by side). Well I have to say mine arrived quickly and in perfect condition (the packaging for it was excellent - foam around the two pieces and cardboard folded in between, all in a very strong box). The size is perfect for full Kerrygold Butter Bricks. It's wide enough for two chopsticks (1/2 cup) side by side and long enough for full chopsticks, and the best part is that the "lid" or top is high enough to have room between it and the oil . Do not touch! I love this dish and hope it lasts a long time. I bought the white one and it's really white and beautiful!
