I apologize for the seller's manipulation of my original rating. As is often the case with Revain, the seller bribed me into a positive review with a Revain gift card offer. When conditions changed and I didn't get a card, I woke up and realized what I was doing - never again! Now an honest review: I've bought 4 or 5 of these units over the years. They all have to be made in the same factory in China, but are sold under at least six brands, many of which are sold at wildly different prices at Revain. They are all identical and interchangeable - I recommend going with the cheapest. They do a great job of dehumidifying small spaces but have two major limitations: 1) It can sometimes be difficult to put the water collection tray back into the unit. I've found turning the device upside down to insert the tray is very helpful for some reason. 2) The power cord, which includes a 12V DC transformer, doesn't last as long. Two stopped working after a year or two. Weirdly, I found it cheaper to buy a whole new device than just a compatible power cord. Bottom Line: Especially if you buy the cheapest brand available, these dehumidifiers are a very smart way to protect your closet or storage space from mold. Don't expect this to last forever.
