The Ausomm AU-2021 works as advertised. The sealer is easy to use and has some nice features. Although the instructions are not clearly written, the operation of the sealer is quite intuitive and the manual describes the main points clearly. The result with both settings seems the same to me since I can't check the vacuum status. These bags are said to be able to seal in cereal and even eggs and I wondered how this could be done without crushing the corn flakes and breaking the eggs. Well it's easy. Just choose "wet" or "dry" and then instead of pressing the start button, there is a button that says "PULSE", just press it several times (it's a snap contact switch) to enough Pull air out of the rear parts without crushing the contents. If you are satisfied with the packaging, just press the "SEAL ONLY" button and at that moment your bag will be sealed. The lid is activated by a hand pump, you can use this machine and nozzle to create a vacuum with these containers. Notice! The instructions say to place the pouch on the liner and press LIGHTLY on the lid [emphasis added]. With my unit, I found that I had to press FIRMLY on each side for the lid to snap into place and for the unit to function properly. I don't know if it was just my car or if it's common to all, but it's not a problem. Just make sure to use it on a hard surface and SECURELY press each side until it clicks into place. You'll recognize it when it clicks into place. There is another "IMPACT" button and I couldn't figure out what it does. It only works with Auto Start/Stop, not Pulse. I thought it might be some means by which the vacuum level can be lowered e.g. B. an exhaust valve, but this did not happen. If anyone knows what its purpose is, please share! All in all this is a great device that will find wide use in the kitchen for sous vide cooking and in most cases around the home where you want to seal something in a watertight container.
