If you are looking for an economical way to achieve an elegant cake style, this is the perfect choice. I wanted an easy three tier carrot cake for my very small wedding at a famous local bakery. They wanted to charge $10 each which is outrageous for a 'naked' cake that we would decorate ourselves - see flowers. So I bought individual cakes, 12", 8" and 6", and used this stand instead of using a stack of cakes in a regular wedding cake, which saved me $200! It worked perfectly.
