Review on Bentgo Classic: Green All-in-One Bento Lunch Box with Stackable Containers and Utensils by Cassie Moore

UPDATED: I want to change my original rating. While the product rating remains the same, the customer service is impeccable. After writing this review I received a full refund for the 3 bentgo boxes I purchased. I was also not asked to return the products, which I would love to do, but it's a hassle. Didn't even ask for a refund and received an email and a full refund. I'm definitely happy with it. So my review has been changed to say that while this product has not worked for me or my husband it may work better for others and with their customer service I would encourage anyone who is tempted to buy it and give their money back , if you don't. I like it. FIRST REVIEW: I bought this product for my husband. It fit perfectly in his lunch box and the material seemed to be of good quality for the price and it was pleasing to the eye too. Unfortunately, not everything is as it should be. I bought 3 of these hoping I would find a great cooking solution. The cutlery in the middle has to be placed very precisely to fit in between and even then they don't fit together exactly. You can just slip them into slots, but they still slide everywhere. The top piece that holds the cutlery and fits on top of the light gray lower bin does not fit in the lower bin, it just sits on top. The same unmatched shell comes on top dark gray tank. They then give you a flexible strap that spans two boxes to hold them all together. Unfortunately, when the strap moves to one side (which it does, given the case's slim design), the two cases almost become separated. My husband and I both had issues with all 3 boxes of Bentgos we received and kept them all together. Putting on a strap to hold them all together, which is a must as without it there is nothing holding the tops together, often only resulted in the tops moving up or down. This unstructured and inappropriate design was actually the reason my husband spilled all his food on the floor at work to remove the strap so he could reheat his food. At this point he told me to either throw them away, give them away or return them because he refused to use them. Instead, we're going back to regular Tupperware containers.
