This product is amazing but not working at all. The crockery in the middle pops up all the time and doesn't stay in place. The white top compartment cover keeps popping out (never washed in the dishwasher). The two compartments won't stay together without a small strap, and the strap isn't attached to anything. I bought this as a quick and easy way to take a lunch box with me when I go for a walk with my kids. They use Bentgo Kids Brights and Bentgo Fresh. We have had them since the start of the 2019/20 school year and have used mine about 4 times. Baby boxes work GREAT. Let me just say I have no idea what people are talking about in the reviews. I work long hours in retail and bought one for my boyfriend and I for our lunch. I throw these things in my purse and whatever happens to them, it's strong. The boxes themselves are pressed against each other, and the tape is so tight I have no problem keeping it closed. This product is ok but it has design flaws. My biggest problem is that the two compartments in the top container are not isolated from each other when the lid is closed, see photo. So when I go to work, the items in these compartments can get mixed up. I personally would love if the lids were interchangeable and the containers could be stacked on top of each other in any order. Too many moving parts. This rubber band is only necessary because Bentgo has not collected different levels for nothing. The top level has two separate compartments where you can store two different items.
