I received this frother for Christmas yesterday to replace my Nespresso which I have had for a few years. I've started cataloging all the ways this one is so much better: 1-4 different modes (2 different hot and cold foams). The Nespresso was only a 2.2 - the heating element is separate from the frothing cup so I can keep filling it and frothing more cups without having to clean it. Also, and this is important since the heating element is separate, I can put the cup and lid in the dishwasher! 3- The rotating part of the lid makes it easier for me to scoop the foam out of the whole cup. The Nespresso had that pesky hump and spinner on the bottom 4 - the heating element heats 5 milk - that may seem small, but this one has anti-slip elements on the bottom - this allows for one-handed operation without the device slipping. counter
