with 2.5 inch deep drawer. . It does. The compartments are a little tight. wider than a stack of forks or spoons, but not wide enough for two. I had to swallow my OCD and just PUT the forks and spoons into the slot (I couldn't make neat stacks) and it worked fine. I have a lot of cutlery as we are a family of 7 and they all fit great. There is about an inch on one side of the organizer which I used for small serving spoons and forks. There is about an inch and a half on the back which I used for large serving spoons. Bamboo pairs beautifully with a touch of light wood on the inside of the drawer. Much more attractive than plastic. I'm happy. When I got my new kitchen, I bought bamboo drawer organizers from a local store and paid WAY more for each drawer than I spent organizing my cutlery drawer. Great price for a near perfect product (I've been looking for one that would fill my drawer completely, with no gaps on the side and back, to no avail!).
