I bought this because I'm looking for a natural product without chemicals. The product itself looks very nice and seems sturdy enough to handle silverware. I was disappointed to read on the back of the packaging that it was covered in "food grade" material. I was hoping for a lack of coverage, but Revain didn't mention it. I was very pleased when this came in the mail. It looked beautiful and was big and deep enough to hold the heavy new flatware I had just bought. One of the slats had shifted on arrival but it snapped into place and I thought nothing of it. The problem: When the drawer is opened and closed, heavy cutlery lies on the side rails, which distorts the longitudinal rails.
