Nice but defective

Revane informed me that I received it on April 7th 2012. I chose this tray for two reasons: because I like bamboo and because I have a lot of cutlery and it is spacious. I'm not disappointed in either of those things. I'm disappointed because it's not very well made. I'll paste it again today or try, which prompts me to visit Revain and write a review. Advantages: 1. I like bamboo very much. It makes me happy2. I have a small kitchen and it fits nicely in the top drawer3. I think I have a service for 16 (two sets for 8), plus a few extras like an ice teaspoon, and it goes with everything. I may have a 20 service, too, if you think about it. Disadvantages: 1. Everything is a bit twisted. I'm pretty sure it was when I got it, but it definitely is now. That makes the plywood expense a little questionable.2. What prompted me to reinsert was that the cutlery began to slip out of their official basket. (Of course, this led to more jams over time. FWIW, I've just been pulling out knives and putting in dividers for years, but knives want what knives want and they're doing it again. Today I had enough canteen silver in the dishwasher and I thought ,it would be a good day to try regluing.Over time or initial poor design the dividers will not sit flush with the base.I tried gluing and clamping at first and gave up.I got it a few hours tried it and then decided to treat it more like hunting with my Elmer: I'm trying to build a barrier that won't let knives slip back under it and get things jammed all the time.. 4 stars because I still love this wood and that depth and that it fits so well in my drawer as I was hoping it would make good use of the space I have and stylish for all its flaws is a special subject in each department In the longest basket on the left I pushed the serving spoons up and the ice teaspoons down. In the next compartment I have knives which was probably the worst choice for them because they jammed and I was able to rearrange them as I filled the box. Next I have forks, real dinner forks. On the far right I have regular spoons at the top of the basket and teaspoons at the bottom of the basket. I hardly ever need the forks for dessert, so I put them on top in the smaller basket that's on the side. And I can't easily get to the top basket, so very rarely used items end up there. I understand my mixing up different types of cutlery may be disappointing to some readers, but it works really well for me. Again, I don't have much space and this is the optimal solution. I'll probably swap the knives and spoons when I fill up the box as that gives the knives less chance of escaping. I think.
