I was very pleased when this came in the mail. It looked beautiful and was big and deep enough to hold the heavy new flatware I had just bought. One of the slats had shifted on arrival but it snapped into place and I thought nothing of it. The problem: When the drawer is opened and closed, heavy cutlery lies on the side rails, which distorts the longitudinal rails. In one day of use, all the inner compartments were shaken and the slats were bent. I just glued all the boards together with wood glue hoping that would work. I will be very disappointed if I have to return it as it looks good and is the perfect size. Lipper International if you are reading these reviews please reinforce the side rails to withstand the pressure of the cutlery being pressed against them. every time you close the box. And please make sure all the slats are firmly glued.
