Quality construction but thin fabric

I bought this hat for one of my nieces but decided not to give it to her. While it looked well tailored (tight stitching and well-matched seams), the fabric felt flimsy and flimsy. Maybe it's ok for some parts of the country, but not for our Minnesota winters. Very unfortunate; otherwise seemed like a good buy.

Pros

My girls love this hat, soft, warm and fluffy, no tags (they hate tags)

Cons

MAY TOO SMALL FOR OLDER CHILDREN - Although the hat is labeled as suitable for toddlers aged 5-8, some parents may find it too small for their child and may need to purchase a larger size.
