Review on 🍊 Genuine Mango Wood Shaving Soap Bowl from Parker Safety Razor - Classic Style and Authentic Quality by Jana Bramlage

I read other reviews. Some like it, some have problems. Well I have problems. First, my shaving soap (Colonel Konk's) is too big to fit in, so I microwaved it for a few seconds to melt it and adjust to the bowl. The paint peeled off quickly and blistered. That was all that happened and it only seemed on the surface. Since I'm more interested in function than form, I chalked it up to a bad decision on my part and moved on. A few weeks later, a crack appeared on the underside near the edge. That hasn't happened before. I have no idea how this happened: maybe I took it and lowered it too abruptly? I'm not sure. I know the microwave didn't cause this because I inspected it later and no soap leaked from the bottom. Unfortunately, Revain doesn't have many soap/mug options and most of them have some kind of bug. It is highly recommended to use a small rubber container (microwave safe) instead. Maybe a bit of a redneck, but like I said, I still value functionality over form.
