So this thing is HUGE compared to the specular lights you find at Target or Walmart etc. I usually have to get it to the ground after slapping my face perfectly, but it's light as the stand itself is made out of hard plastic rather than regular metal. The near side is curved so focusing at an angle can be a bit tricky, but fair warning you'll see EVERYTHING on your face. Now for the light, let me tell you that it will brighten your day because it has its own ring light. I know the ones YouTube uses - yes it is. You can basically do makeup with the light off if you want to save power and just use it as a light. I love this mirror and use it every day. Whether you buy it for yourself, your girlfriend or your mother - you will love it and they will love it. If you love looking at yourself in the mirror, look no further! I bought this on a whim and was so happy I did - I hope you are too!
