Big disappointment. It's not bright enough. 10x magnification is too high for most applications; should only be 5x. The cord storage in the base is a joke. You have to wrap and twist the cable around the brackets that are too small and then there is no room for the plug so the mirror doesn't sit flat when you try to hide the plug in the base as well. Keep searching.

That sucks. DO NOT BUY! Received with a lightbulb that flickered from the start. I ordered 2 new bulbs and nothing works. Firstly it's been a month, 2 weeks out of the box and you can't return it. They know they sell junk! I even had to give 1 star to represent it. Where are the minus stars?

I bought this mirror many years ago and am very happy with it. The lightbulb eventually went out, but I was able to buy a new lightbulb. I ordered this 13 months ago when I thought my magnifying mirror had died after years of good use. But that's not the case. I only had a problem with the plug adapter. So I used the old mirror for another year before unpacking it today. I love this mirror! Great little shelf on the front for everyday items like tweezers and the like. The light is nice and bright (I've already bought a spare bulb, why not). I love this mirror! There was also Zadro. It was more expensive and the handle worked quickly. Good thing it doesn't have a handle, just an on/off button. Zadro fixed the other one for free, which I really appreciate, but it was expensive for me to send the mirror over there, so I invested a lot. I still prefer this one to the more expensive one. So this thing is HUGE compared to the specular lights you find at Target or Walmart etc. I usually have to get it to the ground after slapping my face perfectly, but it's light as the stand itself is made out of hard plastic rather than regular metal. The near side is curved so focusing at an angle can be a bit tricky, but fair warning you'll see EVERYTHING on your face.
