I was looking for an ultra wide monitor to clean up my desk to replace my 2 monitors and a docking station. What's wrong? 1. Philips advertises this monitor as a single USB-C cable solution for display, sound and data (dock), which is not true. Display and sound are working fine so far, but other peripherals like keyboard and mouse or external SSD don't work. The data is not included or the marketing team is not talking to the technical team.2. The viewing angles of the VA panel are below average and I don't compare it to IPS. The Dell VA panel is much better than my 2017 model3. The monitor periodically resets PD when connected to my Macbook4. I contacted Philips support and they said that this model is not sold in North America, which is surprising since Amazon is listed as the official retailer for this monitor on the Philips website in the US. Price and build quality aside, there aren't any advantages to this monitor. If I don't hear from Philips in the next few days, I can return it. Either I got a bad copy, or Philips rushed into the North American market without enabling data for the dock.
