Review on Ultimate Diamond Adult Dry Cat Food: Fueling Feline Maintenance with Protein, Probiotics, and Antioxidants by Amber Love

Good cat food for what it is - feeding wild or stable cats helps them overcome the irresponsibility of some pet owners.

This is a cat food in a different category than any I have ever purchased, used or considered. This food does not contain the highest quality ingredients, in fact there are many ingredients that you would rather eliminate from your spoiled kitten's diet. However, this food has one major, almost humanitarian benefit – it provides decent nutrition to poor, abandoned, feral and barn-living kittens who would otherwise have nothing to eat at all. My friend feeds a large number of wild cats. She does this responsibly by capturing kittens for spaying or neutering, and the younger kittens are relocated by the local Humane Society. But no matter how much she catches, no matter how much is relocated or neutered, there are always too many poor little feral kittens - hungry, unkempt, and now facing another harsh New England winter. I buy forty pounds. cat food a week and she uses it to feed all the feral, abandoned and abandoned kittens that inhabit the woods in our area. How people can just drive by, throw their kittens out of the car and then drive away I'll never understand. But people do it too often to even believe it. With this decent quality and affordable cat food, many kittens will eat well and survive the winter. So while I wouldn't recommend this for a spoiled indoor cat, I'm grateful to Diamond for helping so many poor kittens survive another harsh winter. Until people learn to spay or neuter their pets, we will always be surrounded by miserable survivors of unwanted litters. If you can, use a humane trap and catch as many abandoned cats and dogs as you can, neuter them and hope good families are found for them. Until the problem goes away, and I don't have high hopes that will be anytime soon, this level of quality is more than enough to last a poor little kitty that never asked to be born and abandoned, all winter about keeping alive and fed . . . Support your local Humane Society with their help, maybe this tragic situation of pet overpopulation can finally be solved - in a kind, humane and loving way. - a child from your local animal shelter or the Humane Society.
