Review on ๐Ÿ”ฎ Himalayan Salt Lamp - 8-10 Inch (7-11 Pound) with Dimmer Switch - Handcrafted and All-Natural, Including Wooden Base and Spare Bulb by Michael Dixon

Large salt lamps must have 25w bulbs to heat properly.

I bought a Body Source salt lamp. He was big, 11 to 15 pounds. When I received it everything was fine in the box. It was packed pretty well. I plugged it in and turned the dimmer to the highest level. After 9 hours it still felt cold but had a nice bright light. I emailed the company over the next 2 days and explained that it wasn't warm at all. They replied that in order to benefit from it, he had to keep warm. I told them I felt like a 15 watt lightbulb wasn't big enough to heat it up. I ask her if I can try the 25 watt bulb I had. I never got a reply from them. I did a little research and found that a lightbulb that size would need a 25 watt bulb and a 15 watt bulb would not be enough to heat a large salt lamp. I'm currently using a 25 watt device, it's warm and works great. This company should start shipping 25 watt lightbulbs in large bulbs and they should also start responding to emails when there is a problem with their products. I will buy more of these lamps, but not from this company.
